Referral
Client referrals to Banyan House services from other agencies are very welcome. Referrals can be:
- accepted from the person seeking treatment
- accepted from other organisations or individuals.
- for any type of service (i.e. withdrawal, rehabilitation or diversionary services)
- for co-management of co-occurring drug and mental health disorders
- verbal or in writing (some referrals, such as for court reports, must be in writing).
Banyan House Services include:
- Residential rehabilitation program
- Residential supported withdrawal program
- Drug including alcohol assessments
- Courts and Police diversion programs
- Court/legal report
- Counselling, education and information in relation to alcohol and/or drug use
How to make a referral
Simply call Banyan House on (08) 8942 7400 during business hours to discuss the referral or potential client with Banyan House intake staff. Banyan House staff will ensure that its service is suitable and the most appropriate for the client.
Written referrals and documentation can be faxed to (08) 8947 1093 or emailed to admin@banyanhouse.org.au.
Each client’s consent and confirmation that they are seeking assistance is required before a referral can be accepted.
