The Forster Foundation for Drug Rehabilitation Inc, operates Banyan House which is a residential recovery program in the Northern Territory.  

Donations of money, goods, services or time from individuals and businesses enable Banyan House to provide services to treat more people with drug addictions.  

Donors can claim income tax deductions for donations they make to the Forster Foundation, which has Deductable Gift Recipient (DGR) endorsement conferred under taxation law.


Options for giving

Money

  • Money funds high quality staff, facilities, therapeutic and educational activities and programs, and residential costs.
  • Donations can be large or small and either once off or via a planned program.

Bequests

  • Bequests and in-memoriam giving provide opportunities for individuals, foundations and trusts to provide small or large gifts or a planned giving program tailored your foundation or trust’s charter and objectives. 

Goods and services

  • Banyan House incurs large operational costs for residential consumables particularly groceries, equipment, services and supplies, for example for our vegetable gardens and plant nursery, its vehicle fleet and for purchase of professional services such as medical and psychological services. 

Volunteer

  • Volunteer tutors for life skills or leisure activities are always very welcome as they enrich and broaden our range of therapeutic and education activities and greatly assist in reducing Banyan House’s operational costs.
